Position Summary:
 
The Facilities Technician 3 is responsible for the provision of building operations, maintenance and repairs in assigned facilities according to the respective Technician’s qualifications. This job works on a wide variety of assigned tasks.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Building maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure building compliance and code is adhered to
  • Contractor oversight and management
  • Manage workloads
  • On call availability
  • Reports and all written documentation and process are followed
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations
  • Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management
 
Qualifications:
 
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience as a Certified Journeyman technician or equivalent
  • Self-motivated, willing to learn
  • Works well independently and is a team player
  • Presents and maintains a positive and professional image
  • Writing and verbal communication skill is an must
  • Awareness of Environment, Health & Safety Issues
  • Required to obtain/maintain a security clearance - A valid driver's license is required
  • Must climb ladders
  • Basic computer skills is required
