Position Summary:

The Account Executive for retrofit projects will actively seek out and engage new customer prospects along with growing relationships and sales with potential customers. A good knowledge of the HVAC/R and Energy industry is as must.


Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote and sell solutions using solid arguments to prospective customers.
  • Influence and design new installations and replacements for Mechanical / Energy Retrofit Projects. (Must have knowledge in the mechanics of HVAC/Industry including Energy Modelling of savings projections)
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of prospective customers to meet their needs.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Understanding profit and loss and the drive to ensure profits are made. The ability to demonstrate value added services to Clients.
  • Ability to scope out, estimate and sell installation and replacement jobs. Qualified candidates must understand all components needed to complete the job from start to finish making the install/replacement profitable
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.


Qualifications:

  • A graduate from a technical engineering program with 3-5 years minimum Sales experience in the HVAC market dealing with commercial property managers, and industrial clients.  In additional to a technical background, it would be preferred for candidate to have post graduate designation in business or other technical fields.
  • Confident, outgoing, ability to cold call on clients.
  • Technical understanding of HVAC systems as well as boilers and related equipment.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work as a Team player
  • Organizational skills that include proficient computer skills. Ability to process estimates and proposal documents in a timely fashion.
  • The ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) in both French and English is considered and asset.
