Primary Accountabilities:
The DDC Technical Support is responsible for expediting accurate, efficient and documented technical expertise and services for Ainsworth’s clientele and internal personnel. Promote, budget, develop, implement and maintain value added technical services, which are beneficial for internal and exterior both new and existing clientele.
Major Responsibilities:
- Provide, document and expedite complete and concise technical support information to service personnel and clientele relating to the execution of service requests and maintenance contract execution.
- Attach explanations and value to services provided which are both understood and appreciated by our clientele.
- Recognize sales opportunities through services provided and deliver complete and concise documentation to Service and Construction Sales Departments.
- Administer, maintain and distribute technical information relating to present and future products.
- Administer and maintain documentation, databases, graphics and site access information for Ainsworth’s clientele, which is not department dependent.
- Inform and advise both existing and new clients of the training courses and schedules available at Ainsworth.
- Together with Technical Support Manager conceptualize, develop and implement value added services to meet present and future expectations and requirements of our clientele.
- Secure Technical Support Contract base from existing client base to optimize the execution of service requests and accounting functions.
Deliverables:
- Prompt execution and completion of spot, warranty and maintenance service orders to service clientele and internal personnel (i.e. service coordinator, service/construction sales, project managers and service management) complete with the inclusion and distribution of documentation relating to the services provided.
- Promote and deliver Technical Support Contract opportunities to Sales Department for existing and new clientele.
- Promote and deliver service and construction sales opportunities through the services provided and delivered.
- Distribution of technical information relating to Delta product to Ainsworth Service Technicians.
- Establishing, implementing and maintaining and accurate technical information and documentation (as-built drawings, graphics, job books, databases) for Ainsworth’s client base, which is readily accessible for internal use (i.e. sales, construction, service).
- Together with the Tech Support Manager plan, budget, implement and deliver value added services to meet present and future expectations and requirements of our clientele.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in the DDC controls environment.
- Thorough knowledge of DDC and HVAC systems and components utilized.
- Understanding of engineering and technical requirements for the DDC controls industry.
- Conceptual knowledge of mechanical service requirements.
- Understanding of engineering and technical requirements for the DDC controls industry.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Team player who is disciplined, self-directed, and determined to meet internal and external expectations and requirements.
