Position Summary:

We are looking for a Journeyman Service Electrician to join our fast-paced service & small projects team for the greater Vancouver region. The role will be responsible for completing daily service calls/small projects, experience with providing electrical material takeoffs, scope definition, installation design, controls wiring, fire alarm systems ,EV charging installations ,commercial TI's and light Industrial work.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, professional work ethic, above average computer skills with Windows-based programs, troubleshooting/analytical experiences, and ability to interact with customers a must.


  • Experience working with electrical and electronic testing equipment.
  • Troubleshooting, dismantling, analyzing, repairs, reconditioning, and re-installing electrical supplies and equipment.
  • Performing new installations and repair work on electrical equipment and wiring.
  • Reporting on and recommending improvements to electrical & mechanical equipment.
  • Experience examining ,repairs including maintenance assistance with high voltage electrical equipment when required.
  • Developing & managing work orders, logs, and all other documentation accurately and on time.
  • Blueprint reading


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as Commercial Service Electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code.
  • FSR-B Certification (Master Electrician) considered an asset.
  • Strong expertise in conduits, raceway, tray installations, Lighting and wiring installations, and repairs and strong controls background
  • Experience/ knowledge of electrical controls.
  • Experience in Thermography Level 1 and VFD will be an asset
  • Familiarity with electrical permit processes, inspections and BC Hydro interaction/isolations.
  • Excellent communication skills and data experience.
  • Strong work ethic and communications skills.
  • Able to work some after hours, split shift, night work or weekends as required.
