As the AGO executes a bold 10-year vision, we are currently seeking a Project Manager, Development Operations to develop, maintain, and keep on track the various projects being worked on by the Development Operations team.  Reporting into the Associate Director, Development Operations, the Project Manager will be responsible for the following core activities:  

  • Determining and defining project scope objectives and confirming resources needed to reach these objectives 
  • Monitoring project process of Development Operations staff through assigning, scheduling, and tracking work completion 
  • Managing the delivery of services and communicating changes to key project stakeholders. 
  • Leading regular training as new systems, policies, and procedures are rolled out
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
  • Maintaining the database, running reports, and preparing presentations
  • Troubleshooting issues flagged by stakeholders and making quick corrections or escalating to necessary parties
  • Researching, testing, and refining areas within the database and other supporting Development technology and making recommendations on solutions

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, data-driven, and a skilled problem solver who is capable of fostering strong relationships across the organization. He/She/They will possess extensive knowledge and at least 2-3 years of practical application in project management. The successful candidate will also have highly developed knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/database systems/project management systems as well as an awareness and experience with data visualization systems. He/She/They will bring a demonstrated ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline. Raiser’s Edge experience an asset.
