Description
ActioNet is seeking a Technical Writer (Journeyman). Responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation and program deliverables, translating complex technical content into understandable language while ensuring compliance with standards and supporting project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the creation, editing, and maintenance of technical documentation and program deliverables, translating complex technical content into clear and concise language.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts, Program Managers, Project Managers, and engineers to develop SOPs, policies, procedures, and documentation for DoD network modernization projects.
- Ensures compliance with program requirements and corporate standards, maintains configuration control, revises content based on editorial feedback, and generates innovative content and workflow solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and graphic tools such as Adobe Illustrator.
Requirements:
- Degree: Minimum of bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Business Administration, or Technical Writing;
- Experience: 5 years with BA/BS degree;
- Commensurate: N/A; degree required;
- Specific Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); proficient with graphic tools such as Adobe Illustrator; experience supporting DoD projects, specifically network modernization projects;
- Certifications: N/A;
- Clearance: Secret eligible
