Description

ActioNet is looking for a Desktop IT Support Lead  requiring a Secret Clearance. This position is located at Camp Humphreys, South Korea.
 
The Headquarters IT Support Lead oversees desktop and end-user IT support for senior staff across multiple geographically dispersed locations. This role manages daily helpdesk operations, supervises support technicians, and ensures timely, high-quality resolution of technical issues. The Lead is responsible for coordinating lifecycle replacement of IT systems, overseeing hardware/software deployments, and ensuring compliance with Department of War, DoD, and US Forces Korea (USFK) IT standards.
 
They will support planning and execution of VTC and audiovisual requirements for high-level meetings, maintain operational readiness of classified/unclassified systems, and provide user training for new or upgraded technologies.
 
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Managing ticket workflows, prioritizing urgent issues, and monitoring performance metrics to ensure service quality.
  • Supporting senior leadership and executive staff with responsive, white-glove IT support.
  • Overseeing asset management, documentation, and configuration tracking for all IT equipment.
  • Implementing process improvements to enhance helpdesk efficiency and customer experience.
  • Coordinating with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with IAT-III and related DoD security requirements.
  • Troubleshooting network, hardware, software, and AV issues in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
Experience: 3–5 years managing helpdesk or desktop support for organizations with 1,000+ users
Certifications: IAT-III (DoD 8570.01M / 8140) required
Preferred: Prior military IT support experience; experience supporting executive or flag-officer-level staff
