Northwest Center (NWC), a transformative social enterprise leader, seeks a Vice President of Operations to join the team as a senior leader of our growing Administrative Support Services division in Seattle (South Lake Union).

Collectively, the Northwest Center Administrative Support Services team oversees virtually every aspect of the front lobby activities at 40+ Amazon corporate buildings in the greater Seattle area (focused in South Lake Union). Our team of over 130 receptionists, and six (6) additional specialized business services, provides professional 5-star customer service on a daily basis within a fast-paced and demanding environment.

This position’s essential responsibility is to ensure that NWC is the premier service vendor positioned to grow with Amazon. We are seeking a customer-focused person who has extensive experience leading strategic operational growth on a national level.

This person will be responsible for leading cross-functional and cross-organizational teams to drive dynamic growth and advancement in alignment with our customer’s current expansion and with anticipation of their future needs.   Exceptional customer relations, business development, and highly effective communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain close relationships with our Amazon customer

  • Accountable for identifying and anticipating customer needs and managing the process of creating appropriate solutions, and positioning these solutions with the customer
  • Create and drive our business through new ideas, high-impact services and new opportunities
  • Proactively influence decisions through collaboration, leadership and customer focused approach
  • Define ideal customer experience in close partnership with stakeholders in operations and NWC Executive Team
  • Ensures our services are scalable and that we continue to grow diverse and vertical solutions with our growing customer base
  • A proactive team member, who thinks beyond current services to future endeavors, and who can grow NWC’s customer relationship with Amazon.
  • This position is responsible for understanding the entire business budget and billing. Expectations are to set and manage the financial aspects for the implementation of all service needs and associated projects.
  • Prepares and presents accurate project status reports, metrics and results for all required audiences included the Quarterly Business Review with our Amazon customer team
  • Develop trusted partnerships and advocate with our strategic partners

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree required; with direct job experience in Sales, Relationship or Account Management
  • Proven experience working effectively with a large global company
  • Experience managing a large administrative support team
  • Experience reporting to and managing cross functional and cross site groups
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • A genuine love for customers and proven history of driving service growth in a complex and changing environment
  • Very high emotional intelligence and strong social interaction ability
