How much you will earn: $15.45/hr with an increase to $16 after probationary period

Northwest Center is looking for an Entry Assistant to join our team!  The Entry Assistants are often the first contact between the community and Amazon.com. We strive to exceed customer expectations with each introduction prior to guests entering the R1 space. Our focus is offering a one of a kind entry experience, through engaging customers, scanning tickets, and answering the public’s questions. We are committed to making the Spheres a memorable experience to all users. Hours of operation are 9:30 am to 8:30 pm Monday through Saturday and 10:30 am to 7:30 pm on Sundays. Your schedule may vary, however you will be given two consecutive days off including one weekend day.

Essential Functions:

  • Open and close Spheres, making sure the area is clean and organized.
  • Greet all visitors in a friendly, warm, professional and courteous manner, you are required to provide a 5-star first impression every time you answer the phone or greet a visitor.
  • Arrive in provided Entry Assistant uniform. Launder as necessary to ensure a professional appearance.
  • Engage with each and every visitor who approaches the Spheres location and re-direct the public as needed.
  • Scan guest’s tickets and confirm validity prior to directing them to enter into the exhibit.
  • Direct customers to the nearest Spheres Ambassador to assist with potential ticketing issues.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge regarding the building and be prepared to offer commentary, speak to and/or offer assistance to visitors.
  • Respond to public inquiries as directed
  • Communicate any comments to Leadership and actively work with Supervisor to respond to uncommon public inquiries or questions.
  • Attend and actively participate in all scheduled trainings to maintain current information on the exhibits, Amazon and campus history, best customer service practices, and more.
  • Assist with special events and projects, as requested.


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1-year Customer Service, information booth, or ticketing experience.
  • Ability to type 40 wpm
