AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts, with campuses in Los Angeles and New York City, is one of the foremost performing arts colleges in the country. AMDA offers Bachelor of Fine Arts degree programs in Acting, Musical Theatre, Dance Theatre and Performing Arts, as well as a two-year conservatory program.

We are currently seeking a full-time Admissions Records Coordinator for our New York campus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain the confidentiality and data integrity of each applicant’s file and documents.
  • Enter and maintain all applicant information in the school’s database system.
  • Utilize school’s data base system to enter updated information for applicants in the various stages of the Admissions process.
  • Tracks file to completion for all prospective students.
  • Prepare applicant records with complete status for evaluation by Admissions Director.
  • Monitor the movement of inactive files to archives.
  • Perform consistent audits to assist the Admissions department in ensuring students have submitted all documents necessary for enrollment.
  • Participate in appropriate recruitment and enrollment activities including: Auditions and Orientation.
  • Coordinate document handling obtained from outreach/recruiting events, such as thespian festivals, high school visits, regional presentations, college fairs, and orientations.
  • Prepare and audit “Active” student files to be deliver to the Registrar’s office.
  • Other general office duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of data entry experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Detail orientated and organization skills.
  • Close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing viewing a computer terminal and expansive reading.
