We are conducting a search for a Business Operations Specialist to help maintain an excellent level of client support. As the Business Operations Specialist, you will work closely with Account Managers, Project Managers as well as vendors/partners and internal operations to provide post-sale activities tied to timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.   

Responsibilities 

  • Perform all required checks to ensure completeness of contracts & close contracts in Salesforce to initiate availability in NetSuite (ERP) for order entry purposes.
  • Process sales orders in NetSuite after reviewing for any data deficiencies and resolving all items prior to order entry in NetSuite.
  • Manage backlog and keep ‘Est Ship Dates’ accurate to help meet on-site requirement and facilitate correct forecasting.
  • Check inventory levels on PO/Pick-Ticket with vendors/warehouse to notify sales/PMs of any stock issues.
  • Complete order fulfillment and invoicing immediately upon shipment and availability of tracking & serial number(s).
  • Run month-end reports and validation to help with close procedures.
  • Communicate work constructively with sales/vendors/partners to ensure flawless execution of all customer orders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred.
  • Two years of order processing and customer service experience or relevant training/education.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Able to adapt to a changing work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good listening skills and communication skills with the ability to understand and implement instructions with limited follow up.
  • Demonstrate proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Prior NetSuite & Salesforce experience desired but not required.
