Job description
We are looking for a Sr. Engineer for developing/integrating Linux system for TV/STB products, who has experience developing Linux OS device drivers, boot SW (uboot) and key test applications in a Linux embedded environment.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a high-performance team and have partnered with cross functional teams across multiple geographies. Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
1.Modify and perform Yocto builds for firmware generation, test and verification.
2.Configure Linux environments for different reference boards.
3.Provide SW to support HW team during board bring-up, function validation, performance testing.
4.Develop, integrate and test device drivers for peripheral devices including Low and High-speed interfaces.
5.Develop and integrate automated test applications for factory tests.
6.Provide technical support for AQ/PQ tuning.
7.Provide onsite support to partners in lab and factory environment.
Key Requirements:
- BS/MS in Computer Science/EE with 1-4 years of relevant working experience.
- Hands-on experience developing firmware, boot code and SW using 32/64-bit Arm processors.
- Hands-on experience developing drivers for Amplifier, Bluetooth/WiFi, HDMI, I2C, USB, VBO/LVDS, Ethernet, eMMC, etc.
- Development experience with Embedded Linux (e.g. Yocto) experience is highly desirable.
- Experience of leveraging and developing on top of Open-source software frameworks is highly desirable.
- Good proficiency with C/C++.
- Proven track record and experience building and delivering complex embedded SW products.
- Working experience in the TiVo OS turnkey project is highly desirable.
