We have an opening for two temporary part-time Facilities Maintenance Assistants to work during the summer in our West Chester, PA office.  This position supports the Maintenance staff with basic building repairs and grounds work.

Expected Outcomes

• Assist maintenance staff with painting, carpentry, electrical and mechanical system repairs.
• Move furniture and set up office/cubical space.
• Perform grounds work and exterior repairs to buildings.
• Assist Mail services with shipping and receiving corporate postal/packages.
• Perform all work in a manner that is consistent with Weston’s health and safety standards.
• Provide for a safe, secure and desirable work environment.
• Perform work in a manner that ensures a sustainable and cost effective solution.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Able to lift and carry small to medium size loads of up to 50 pounds.
• Able to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations outside regular working hours as needed.
• Strong  communication skills and able to effectively communicate and understand the needs of employees at all levels
• Must be able to work in a team environment and cross train in other disciplines as needed.
• Must be familiar with the operation of hand tools and grounds equipment.
• Able to carry semi-skilled tasks to conclusion on a scheduled basis.
• Basic computer skills.

Salary Range: $25,000 - $33,400 - $41,700
