The Air Force Program Manager leads all aspects of building our business and winning contracts  to deliver environmental and infrastructure programs and services worldwide. The Program Manager handles the day-to-day relationships with the client, manages the business and information reporting requirements, keeps abreast of upcoming work and positions for Weston to capture forthcoming work.  Leads the capture and proposal efforts with project execution teams. Key requirements include building and maintaining relationships within the Air Force that enable us to target and capture of key contract opportunities. This includes leading and overseeing project execution to ensure delivery requirements are met to the satisfaction of the AF client.   

Location: United States; San Antonio, TX desired but Remote will be considered for candidates with established Air Force/AFCEC relationships. Targeted travel within the client AOR required for engagement with client, industry, and project teams.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school (STEM preferred) plus a minimum of 10 years’ experience (Federal Program Management; 7 years’ environmental and infrastructure program experience.
  • Knowledge of Air Force environmental and facility programs Experience managing projects in remote and/or austere environments is desirable.
  • Experience demonstrating a progressive increase in supervisory accountability and authority for client relationships, client accounts, projects, programs, people, and budgets.
  • Experience as a Project Manager or Business Development Manager for Air Force or other DOD executing agencies delivering environmental and infrastructure services at both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Professional Registration and/or Certifications desired(engineer, architect, or discipline related to construction). In lieu of Professional Registration, a Master’s degree from an accredited school in a technical field such as engineering, architecture, construction management or other related field including a Masters of Business Administration or Engineering Management.
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, standards, codes, and guidance.

  • Identifies, develops, and closes on new sales opportunities to achieve individual, team and organizations sales objectives.
  • Responsible for the final quality and delivery of reports such as status reports, technical reports, and other reports required of the program.
  • Keeps the client abreast of new developments and changes in the scope and/or timetable of the program.
  • Maintains Weston's reputation by ensuring professional, technical, and ethical standards are upheld by all program staff in dealing with clients, agencies, and subcontractors. 
  • Forecasts client needs and communicates those to the Company to ensure we are prepared to respond to them.

Salary Range: $112,200 - $149,600 - $187,000
