Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Demonstration Project Engineer to support an innovative defense program. You will provide technical and programmatic support for a multi-stakeholder defense demonstration effort. In this role, you will leverage your operations and technical experience to manage schedules and ensure the technical completeness of all work products. Your primary responsibilities include supporting the lead systems engineer with schedule development, identifying and planning tasks for supporting working groups, and participating in those groups to maintain situational awareness and cohesion among stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with Technical Program Managers, project engineers, allied partners, technical warrant holders, safety engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment across all technical and programmatic activities. Required Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
    Submarine operations experience can be substituted for a technical degree 
  • 5-10 years submarine experience, or experience with subsystems and/or operations 
  • Strong knowledge of submarines and submarine operations
  • Ability to draft schedules, program plans, and milestone presentations for multinational teams
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functional and technical teams

 

Desired Experience 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools for developing and maintaining program schedules
  • Strong ability to build and foster relationships across diverse technical and programmatic stakeholders
