Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking askilled Junior Program Analyst / Technical Support professional to support an innovative program office. You will provide technical and programmatic support to Program Officers managing advanced research and development initiatives across Autonomy, Power & Energy, Naval Engineering, Undersea Systems, Materials, and Manufacturing technology focus areas. Responsibilities include supporting acquisition and budgeting activities, coordinating technical reviews and events, maintaining program documentation and briefings, tracking program milestones and deliverables, assisting with portfolio management products, and preparing reports, correspondence, and executive-level briefing materials. You will possess a strong STEM background, experience supporting federal acquisition and research programs, and the ability to work effectively with government stakeholders in a fast-paced RDT&E environment. Work Location: Onsite: Arlington, VA  

 

Travel: Less than 10%

 

Clearance: Active Secret required

 

Required Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of experience in engineering, mathematics, or science disciplines including biology, chemistry, computer science, and physics; OR Master's degree and three (3) years of experience; OR PhD and one (1) year of experience.
  • Recent experience supporting federal acquisition and budgeting activities.
  • Experience executing and reviewing technical studies, analyses, and design activities.
  • Experience supporting technical program management activities.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain program documentation, briefings, reports, and status tracking products.
  • Experience coordinating technical reviews, meetings, conferences, demonstrations, and related events.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

Desired Experience:

 

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense RDT&E programs.
  • Familiarity with DoD RDT&E budget exhibits and budget formulation processes.
  • Experience supporting strategic planning efforts and technology portfolios.
  • Experience developing and maintaining technical and programmatic tracking databases.
  • Knowledge of Navy program management processes.
  • Experience preparing portfolio reviews, Task Planning Sheets, Mission Model Canvas products, Quad Charts, and Fact Sheets.

 

 

The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000. This range represents a good-faith estimate and is not a guarantee; final compensation is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and government contract labor rate requirements and may fall outside the stated range. In addition to base pay, Ventus offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), ESOP participation, retirement plans, and generous paid time off.
