Who We Are Looking For and What You Will Do as a USANA Financial Analyst

We are looking for an ambitious and analytical individual to join our team as a finance analyst. In this introductory position, you will assist in the development, presentation, and management of market and product level profitability for multiple USANA markets. You will prepare and present financial reports, memos, and ad hoc analyses to stakeholders; having the ability to work with and provide recommendations to various groups--and levels--within the organization will be crucial. In addition, you will have stewardship over product part number data maintenance for your markets, and perform ad hoc analyses as needed. Each day, you will contribute to market and product level profitability by analyzing pricing and product margins, promotions, budget/income statements, and customer behavior. Our ideal candidate is a non-stop learner, collaborative, and comfortably excels with ever-changing needs and demands of their markets.

• Prepare and present financial reports, memos, and ad hoc analyses to stakeholders
• Develop an understanding of core financial competencies which can include pricing formula and international costs, promotion strategy/effectiveness, budget vs actuals, ROI analysis, financial statement analysis, and other market performance measures
• Test and ensure appropriate product availability and functionality, and perform periodic analyses and reporting as needed by the market/department
• Expected to grow a solid knowledge base surrounding the systems, tools and models in the department which can include:
  • Oracle ERP and Agile PLM
  • Pricing Model, Quarter and Annual Pricing Margin Analysis Tools
  • Promotion Evaluation Tools
  • Oracle SQL Developer, Snowflake
  • Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Excel
  • Hyperion
  • Market Profitability Statements 

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related analytical field required
• Ability to perform various functions in Excel
• Ability to summarize and communicate information via PowerPoint

What Will Make You Standout

• Ability to professionally communicate with upper management
• Ability and desire to self-teach

Position is hybrid/in-office located in Salt Lake City.
