We are seeking a UX Researcher to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet.

Additionally you’ll work closely with other Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to research, concept, design, prototype, test, and iterate products until they exceed our standards of quality.

Climate change is one of the biggest systemic problems humanity has ever faced. To tackle it, you need to be eager to solve problems and have proven ability to create cohesive experiences based on research, testing and sound design principles.

What you will contribute:

  • Support white label products by conducting primary and secondary user research.
  • Conduct and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Facilitate moderated customer feedback sessions.
  • Conduct unmoderated user feedback sessions (we use usertesting.com).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics.
  • Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies.
  • Synthesize research data and findings.
  • Present research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
  • Translate research findings into design recommendations.
  • Contribute to the Product Design culture, process, and component design system.
  • Mentor and coach other product designers in research best practices

  • Ability to quickly and effectively share research results
  • Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration
  • Understand the design process (and how research fits into it) and advocate for it as you work on projects.
  • Ability to formulate specific, answerable, and practical questions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product decisions
  • Experience with remote testing tools
  • A strong desire for creative problem-solving with a positive attitude
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Can accurately scope your work

  • Work well as a collaborator
  • Relevant educational experience or equivalent and demonstrable work experience

Tools our design team uses: Figma (primary tool for design and prototypes), Sketch, Adobe suite (primarily Illustrator and InDesign), Miro, Filestage, Usertesting.com, Respondent, Invision, Survey Monkey

 

Bonus Points:

  • Worked with UX Product Designers to help create requirements driven wireframes.
  • Worked on white-label projects for multiple clients, from concept to implementation Worked in an Agile and/or SaaS distributed work environment
  • Participated in or led a Google Design Sprint
  • Experience with user flows

Salary Range: $76,000 to $83,000 

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
