Position Overview
We are seeking a Graphic Designer & Coordinator to join the In-Store Marketing team in a dual-role on a 12-month contract. The Graphic Designer & Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional partners and external vendors to execute high-quality printed and digital marketing materials. This role plays a key part in driving business performance and evolving the UNIQLO brand by enhancing the in-store customer experience.
- Conceptualize, design, and adapt printed in-store marketing materials using Adobe Illustrator, including but not limited to signage, easels, flyers, panels, weekly promotional materials, and digital assets.
- Partner cross-functionally with Store Teams, Marketing, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, and external vendors to develop and deliver in-store assets and marketing projects.
- Manage the full lifecycle of assigned projects, ensuring 100% execution and timely setup of all marketing assets with no missed deliveries.
- Present design concepts clearly and concisely for manager review and approval.
- Maintain and uphold UNIQLO’s brand identity standards across all materials.
- Adapt and interpret global brand guidelines for the Canadian market.
- Participate in regular store visits (weekly or bi-weekly) to support execution, events, and store openings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of retail or relative experience in marketing and/or graphic design.
- French language proficiency considered an asset.
- Ability to travel (less than 20%) and work flexible hours as required to support store openings and events.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Detail-oriented, with strong proofreading and quality control skills.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of work, balance multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
