Contracts Specialist
Description
Tyler Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented Contracts Specialist to join our legal operations team. The Contracts Specialist will review client Requests For Proposal and draft contract exceptions, based on standard contract templates and business practices. In addition, this team member will generate, modify, and administer software contracts, amendments and related legal documents, and work closely with attorneys on contractual matters.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and draft contract exceptions on client RFPs (requests for proposal)
- Complete solicitation forms and other required documents
- Prepare software contracts, modifications, and related contractual documents
- Promptly respond to inquiries from internal business units and delivery teams regarding solicitation and contract information
- Draft responses to open records requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree coupled with contract administration or comparable paralegal experience
- Experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle, including proposals, administration, and close-out
- Previous experience reviewing and responding to solicitations is preferred
- Previous experience with SaaS contracts is preferred

- CPCM certification a plus
