We are a talented team of programmers, designers and project managers dedicated to improving Oklahoma citizens' lives through the web and mobile applications we build on behalf of our government partner in Oklahoma. We are passionately leading a new era of digital public service, using technology to bring government to the people of Oklahoma in meaningful and convenient ways. NIC Oklahoma is currently seeking to hire for a Web Developer to assist in the successful implementation of web-based applications and services for state and local government partners.
Summary:
As our Web Developer, you will be responsible for participating in development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications. Participate in project teams within as assigned business unit and utilize various technology platforms. Collaborate with business partners, and other technical staff to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options.
Requirements:
- Are skilled with modern development/administration practices
- Have a good grasp of client-side technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Write clean, modularized, and testable code
- Research and implement the latest tools, practices, and frameworks
- Communicate well with peers and customers
- Are efficient, organized and able to manage multiple projects at once
- Thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
Qualifications:
- Experience using; PHP, .Net, Java, TestNG, Spring with Hibernate, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, Git/SVN, REST, JSON, jQuery and MySQL/Oracle
- Knowledge of web development security best practices
- Knowledge of Linux, Apache, AWS and Azure environments
- Knowledge of Gitlab, Jira, Confluence, and Service Now is a plus
