The Opportunity:
The Revenue Associate supports the revenue management department across a nationwide multifamily portfolio. This role partners closely with the Director of Revenue and operations teams to analyze performance, support pricing strategies, and assist with implementation and ongoing optimization of revenue initiatives.
Compensation: $85K to $95K annual base, depending on experience, plus potential for performance bonuses!
What You'll Own:
- Support revenue management tools and serve as a point of contact for basic revenue-related inquiries
- Assist with hosting and preparing materials for calls focused on property performance, pricing, and market positioning
- Support revenue setup and implementation process of revenue management system
- Maintain revenue and expiration parameters in accordance with seasonality and property goals
- Improve upon current best practices (configuration, parameter management, and business processes) related to revenue management
- Analyze market performance, supply shifts and trends and create long-term business strategies
- Assist in the preparation and review of yearly budgets
- Support monthly P&L reviews and variance analysis
- Help develop and present property strategies to optimize net operating income
What You Bring:
- Ability to leverage multiple data sources to draw high-confidence conclusions about market position and operating plans
- Strong leadership and presentation skills
- Administrative and organizational skills with strong time management and prioritization
- Solid forecasting, modeling, and intermediate mathematical skills
- Ability to handle high-stress situations effectively
Qualifications:
- 6+ months of specific multifamily revenue management experience
- Minimum 1 year in multifamily real estate
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Ability to make informed decisions under tight deadlines
- REBA RENT experience is a plus
- BA/BS degree, preferably in Business, Management, Accounting, or Finance
Requirements:
Physical Demands:
- The team member will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands. The employee may occasionally be required to climb. The employee will also be required to work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods of time. The ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and must be available to work extended/flexible hours and weekends, as needed.
Attendance/Travel:
- Regular attendance and active participation at company functions and events are required.
- Travel is expected, including overnight trips.
