Compensation: $18 to $19 hourly, depending on experience.
Position Overview:
Trinity Property Consultants is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Marketing Intern to support our growing digital presence across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter interested in real estate, multifamily marketing, and online community engagement.
The Social Media Marketing Intern will play a key role in managing community-focused social platforms, monitoring online sentiment, and supporting lead generation efforts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, and other emerging channels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and moderate Facebook Groups and Facebook Pages for assigned apartment communities
• Post and refresh listings on Facebook Marketplace to drive qualified leasing leads
• Respond to Direct Messages in a timely, professional manner
• Conduct proactive outreach via Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to engage prospective renters
• Identify and connect with local influencers, micro-creators, and student organizations for brand partnership opportunities
• Initiate conversations with local businesses to explore cross-promotional collaborations
• Monitor and engage with relevant conversations on Reddit, tracking sentiment and identifying trends
• Assist with reputation management by monitoring comments, reviews, and community discussions
• Assist in creating short-form video content (Reels, Stories, TikToks)
• Track performance metrics including engagement, reach, leads, and response times
• Route social media inquiries to onsite leasing teams
• Assist with social campaigns supporting property launches, promotions, and lease-ups through content creation
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Real Estate, or related field
• Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit platforms
• Excellent design skills in Canva
• Excellent video/photo editing skills in their program of choice (Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, VSCO, etc.)
• Excellent written communication skills
• Professional and customer-service-oriented tone
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable analyzing basic engagement metrics
• Ability to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously
Preferred but not required:
• Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional)
• Familiarity with Sprout Social
• Interest in multifamily real estate or property management
Learning and Development:
- Maintain a commitment to ongoing professional development and career growth through the Fowler Internship Program.
Education:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Must be currently enrolled in a four-year university, community college, or trade school
Requirements:
- 1-year of work experience and/ or extra circular activity involvement, preferred.
- Ability to fluently read and write English, accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions
Physical Demands:
- The intern will be required to sit regularly, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach using feet, legs, back, arms, and hands. The intern may occasionally be required to climb. The intern will be required to work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods of time. Must possess the ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and be available to work extended/flexible hours and weekends as needed.
Attendance/Travel:
- Internship may require availability to work some nights and weekends. Regular attendance and active participation at company functions and events may also be required.
