The Sales Leader – BFSI is responsible for driving strategic growth for Trianz by acquiring new enterprise clients within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance sectors across the U.S. This role focuses on identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value digital transformation, cloud, analytics, digital infrastructure, and managed services deals.
The leader will build trusted executive-level relationships, shape demand for Trianz solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft compelling proposals, and execute a disciplined new-logo acquisition strategy. This role requires a consultative seller with deep BFSI industry knowledge, a strong network, and the ability to lead large complex pursuits aligned with Trianz’s Digital Evolution framework.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition & Revenue Growth
- Drive acquisition of new enterprise logos specifically within the BFSI vertical (Banks, Credit Unions, FinTech, Insurance, Capital Markets).
- Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to proposal creation, solutioning coordination, and deal closure.
- Build a robust pipeline through direct outreach, referrals, partnerships, and industry networks.
- Develop and execute territory plans, account penetration strategies, and new-logo growth initiatives.
Industry & Client Engagement
- Develop and maintain C-level and senior leadership relationships at client organizations (CIO, CTO, CISO, Head of Digital, Chief Data/Analytics Officers, etc.).
- Understand client business models, regulatory pressures, customer-facing needs, risk landscape, and digital transformation priorities specific to BFSI.
- Position Trianz’s capabilities across cloud modernization, digital infrastructure, analytics, security, and managed services.
Collaboration & Solution Development
- Partner with marketing, solution architects, proposal teams, and delivery leaders to create tailored proposals, SOWs, and RFP responses.
- Provide feedback to marketing on campaigns, messaging, and collateral relevant to BFSI needs.
- Align internal teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity in Salesforce and all sales documentation.
Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership
- Stay up-to-date on BFSI industry trends including digital banking, risk & compliance, AI/ML in financial services, cloud modernization, and customer experience transformation.
- Leverage market insights to shape Trianz’s positioning and client discussions.
Operational Excellence
- Accurately forecast opportunities and maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene.
- Participate in internal reviews, sales governance cadences, and leadership updates.
- Travel 50–75% as needed for client engagements, conferences, and organizational meetings.
- Consistently meet or exceed quota and performance expectations.
Skills & Competencies to Look For
1. BFSI Domain Expertise
- Deep understanding of banking, payments, lending, insurance, and capital markets operations.
- Knowledge of regulatory/compliance frameworks (FFIEC, GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOC, NYDFS, etc.).
- Ability to contextualize digital transformation and cloud initiatives for the BFSI customer journey.
2. Sales & Business Development Excellence
- Proven track record of acquiring new enterprise logos and closing multi-million-dollar deals.
- Strong ability to develop pipeline, qualify opportunities, and build winning pursuit strategies.
- Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
3. Technology & Digital Transformation Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of:

- Experience in SOW development, pricing, value articulation, and contract negotiation.
- Ability to forecast accurately and manage sales metrics with discipline.

- Experience working with delivery, marketing, finance, and solution engineering teams.
- Ability to lead pursuit teams and coordinate proposal development.

Preferred Qualifications
- 15+ years of sales experience in technology services, with significant BFSI exposure.
- Experience working with global delivery models and managed services providers.
- Strong network of BFSI industry contacts and decision-makers.
Compensation & Benefits for Fulltime hiring.
- Trianz compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay ranges between USD $150,000 to $200,000. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
