The Forklift Operator/Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that our customer’s product(s) are moved within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner by forklift operation and physically loading/unloading of trucks. They are also responsible for proper inventory being maintained and upholding good housekeeping and warehouse standards.

 

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment through compliance with all warehouse and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain and operate a forklift to OSHA standards.
  • Packing, pulling, cutting, scanning, and labeling of outbound shipments for customers.
  • Stocking and moving inbound inventory in the warehouse.
  • Receiving of inventory and performing quality checks on materials received.
  • Inputting received material into the computer system.
  • Other warehouse tasks as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • One year minimum of warehouse experience.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic forklift skills – forklift certification is a plus.
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
