Total Wine & More is seeking an Associate, Expense & Accounting to join our Finance and Accounting team in Bethesda, MD. This is a temporary role to support with the processing of employee reimbursement reports. You will come with an understanding of accounting principles, strong detail-oriented skills, and an ability to manage competing priorities. You will support the team with processing expense and accounting for executive leader(s) and effective support in ad hoc accounting needs. This role will report to the Accounting Manager.

You will: 

  • Monitor and manage the expense reports mailbox and Certify software. 
  • Print and organize incoming expense submission reports.
  • Review and process AMEX/VISA and cash reimbursement reports. Check for accuracy of coding, proper approvals, and adherence with TWM T&E policies. 
  • Communicate any errors to the approver/submitter.
  • Book travel arrangements in compliance with the Company’s T&E policy.
  • Participate in special projects, as required. (e.g. Back-up for weekly printing checks and running ACHs, etc.

You will have: 

  •  2-3 years in accounting or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, related field or equivalent experience

The non-exempt compensation range for this position is $17.00 - $33.00. Compensation may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills and/or experience. *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
