Description

We are seeking a Category Analyst to join our Spirits Team onsite in Bethesda, MD.  This team member will provide insights and recommendations to optimize Spirits categories, including new brand/product launches, merchandising, price and promotional mix. Job duties include weekly reporting, ad hoc analysis, researching the product market, evaluating competitors, determining sales goals, and making recommendations about how to improve the overall business through category assortment reviews. The ideal candidate would possess a high level of analytical and comprehensive skills to influence assortment decisions throughout the organization. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Category Management 
 
You will  
 
  • Independently gather data, analyze data and provide actionable recommendations to team to drive Spirits category profitability
  • Provide merchandising insights and assortment analytics on category reviews 
  • Assist with item approvals and expansions
  • Partner with Promotional Team on Spirits promotions
  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively among multiple teams to deliver overall spirits growth

  • 3-4 years of Merchandising/Allocation/Assortment Planning Experience
  • Bachelor's degree
