Lead Marketing Insights Analyst, Performance Marketing
Description
We are looking for a Consumer Insights Analyst to join our Customer Insights Analytics team at our Store Support Center in Bethesda, MD. In this role, you will drive insightful customer analyses, focused on our Performance Marketing channels. This will begin with a focus on the E-mail channel and in the future expand to include Display, Paid Social, Affiliate and Search Marketing. This position is ideal for analysts who are passionate about data-driven hypotheses and eager to drive growth.
You will report to the Sr. Manager, Customer Analytics.
You will
- Collaborate with the Performance Marketing team to design and build quantifiable tests and campaigns, including audience development, A/B testing options, and measurable holdout groups.
- Develop and share comprehensive reporting on campaign results to drive channel optimization and provide insights to executives.
- Analyze customer shopping behavior using SQL and other data analysis tools to derive actionable insights from the customer database.
- Manage and execute daily, weekly, and monthly performance marketing reports.
- Visualize analyses and reporting using PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
- Implement and analyze personalized marketing strategies to improve customer engagement and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to meet their customer-level data and analytics needs.
You will come with
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative field
- 4+ years of experience as an analyst
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, or similar) and relational databases.
- Experience in Digital, Marketing or Business Analytics
- Experience in analytics, including digital analytics, segmentation, business intelligence, predictive analytics, a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, a plus.
- Experience producing clear reports using appropriate software (e.g., Excel - can perform complex functions, PowerPoint, Power BI)
