Total Wine & More is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Finance team in our Bethesda, MD office. This role is crucial in administering day-to-day 401(k) responsibilities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data in our systems. The ideal candidate will conduct regular audits of our 401(k)-recordkeeping platform, reconcile discrepancies, and assist with various ad hoc tasks to support our incentive plans. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Finance.
 
You will
  • Oversee and administer the Company’s retirement and incentive plans, including its qualified deferred compensation plan (401(k)), non-qualified deferred compensation plan, short-term incentive plan and long-term incentive plan
  • Lead the Company’s retirement plan compliance requirements, including annual government disclosures, filings, and non-discrimination testing
  • Keep accurate documentation of retirement and incentive plan transactions
  • Ensure that data feeds between the Company’s HRIS system and its retirement plan recordkeepers are functioning correctly, maintaining data integrity in the HRIS database through daily management of carrier files, resolving data errors, and updating necessary information
  • Develop, update, and maintain written procedures and processes for the administration of the Company’s retirement and incentive plans
  • Work closely with the Company’s HR and Payroll teams to ensure proper processing of the Company’s retirement and incentive plans
  • Assist with the research, analysis and evaluation of Company-wide benefit plans/programs
  • Stay up to date on new laws and regulations that may impact the Company’s retirement and incentive plans, adjusting policies and procedures as needed
  • Help with various special projects and initiatives as needed, including system upgrades and process improvements
  • Demonstrate integrity in keeping information confidential and following security protocol for sharing data
You will come with
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's and SUMIFs)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, attention to detail
  • Strong aptitude towards efficiency, quality, and consistency
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of Workday is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs and support multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work with outside vendors (specifically insurance vendors/brokers, banks, and 401(k) administrators) and individuals in a professional, customer service-oriented manner

The exempt compensation range for this position is $53,600- $114,400. Compensation may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills and/or experience.
