Total Wine & More is seeking a Manager, Market Management to join our Merchandising team in our Bethesda, MD office. You will be involved with wine, beer and spirits buying and replenishment for stores across the enterprise. Our Market Management team is unique in that it is a mix of supply chain and buying and has an impact on the products we sell. You will be focused on the buying responsibilities for a specific market or markets, but will also involve responsibilities targeted at project management, new business programs, special projects and process improvement. You will report to the Director, Market Management.
  
You will 
  • Lead a team of 1-3 team members at the Supervisor, Associate and Specialist levels.
  • Help develop all members of the team including indirect reports
  • Use team to manage current responsibilities and take on new challenge
  • Help guide the internal processes and identify improvement opportunities in how we work with external market level vendors chain wide.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales through promotional activity related to in store displays, retail reductions or advertising and working inter-departmentally to achieve results
You will come with 
  • 4 year degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain or related field
  • 7+ years work experience
  • Experience in retail supply chain management or purchasing
