Description

We are looking for a Compliance Associate, Supply Chain to join our Compliance team onsite in Bethesda, MD. Our Compliance department supports our company strategy for maximizing our growth potential and carrying the best brands in all markets for our customers. We use various processes to ensure we are maximizing our ability to sell our entire portfolio across all stores. You will support the day-to-day process of registering alcohol products to ensure compliance with the three-tier federal and state alcohol rules and regulations system. You will work with buyers to facilitate the collection of required compliance documentation, compiling and filing product compliance paperwork, tracking compliance history for products, and working with our business partners to ensure the completion of the compliance process. You will report to the Manager, Supply Chain.
You will
  • Support day-to-day compliance work and special projects
  • Compile, review, and organize large sets of compliance documentation
  • Responsible for updating reporting to ensure compliance work is progressing
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal and external business partners to ensure timeliness of filing handoffs
  • Perform market research to identify conflicts in markets
  • Assist in the development of tools and business processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness and accuracy of compliance operations 

You will come with

  • College degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business/Management, Operations, or similar fields of study
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic Excel knowledge, vlookup and Pivot Tables is required
  • 0-2 years of experience working in an office environment
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in high paced work environment
  • Interests in retail industry, finance or analytics a plus
