Total Wine & More is seeking a Facilities Associate to join our growing Store Development team in our Bethesda, MD office. We are a national retailer with over 270 locations nationwide, supporting a balanced process to ensure the facilities are safe and well-functioning. This candidate must be able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, effectively handle stressful situations, effectively support team members, and manage vendor relationships. The candidate will have input to support corporate office repair, mailroom functions, space optimization, contract services, reception area, and purchasing of equipment and supplies and will have a shared responsibility to monitor data center facility operations. The job is a perfect opportunity for someone to grow their facilities career. You will report to the Director of Facilities Management.  
You will
  • Assist in the coordination of activities, planning administrative systems, and overseeing select repairs and maintenance concerned with the operation of a commercial office facility
  • Assist in the coordination of all installation and refurbishments and support the arranging of internal office moves
  • Coordinate the upkeep of equipment to meet health and safety standards
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with facility/building management
  • Assist in the coordination of office supply deliveries and all TW&M equipment service calls and outsourced service providers for effective, dependable service to the corporate office
  • Assist in the coordination of research initiatives to test, measure, and improve facilities programs
  • Other activities/ special projects as assigned by the supervisor
  • Operates successfully within annual budget guidelines
You will come with
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities, corporate property management, or similar experience
  • On-call and after-hours support is required and periodically needed
  • CMMS or similar Work Order Management System experience
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in both a support and collaborative style
  • Project management and time management skills
  • Experience with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to coordinate work and activities with tight and shifting timelines
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment in person, over the phone, and in writing
  • Proven project management skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (with or without accommodations):
  • Able to move office furniture (on wheels)
  • Ability to lift to 25lbs
  • Extensive walking throughout the day

The non-exempt compensation range for this position is $20.63-$42.31 an hour. Compensation may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills and/or experience.
