Lead Intermodal Success with Impact
You’ll oversee daily and long-term transportation strategies, ensuring service excellence while driving innovation and operational efficiency.

- Direct Dispatch Operations: Lead daily intermodal, OTR, FCL, and drayage dispatch activities, ensuring on-time, compliant performance.
- Optimize Rail Operations: Supervise rail billing, track & trace, and service performance with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Resolve Disruptions: Identify, prevent, and resolve transportation challenges to keep customer commitments on track.
- Manage Equipment & Costs: Oversee container repositioning, storage, and M&R, balancing service with cost-effectiveness.
- Strengthen Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with railroads, trucking partners, and logistics providers as the enterprise’s rail lead.

- Monitor & Report Performance: Track service levels, productivity, and financial results with actionable reporting.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Coordinate with Sales, Booking, and Customer Service for container status visibility.
- Support Port Operations: Partner with port teams and SeaLogix on rail, drayage, and equipment assignments.
- Enhance TMS Capabilities: Lead staff training, recommend enhancements, and ensure full use of transportation systems.
- Drive Cost Efficiency: Recommend strategies that optimize freight costs while maintaining service standards.

- Industry Experience: 5+ years in transportation, intermodal, or freight leadership, including port operations experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Licenses: TWIC card preferred.
- Skills & Tools: Strong operational knowledge of intermodal rail, dispatch, and TMS platforms; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Leadership & Influence: Ability to manage teams, foster collaboration, and deliver results in a high-paced environment.

- Work Environment: Corporate office environment; schedule may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to move through office spaces, work at a computer, and handle typical office tasks up to 20 lbs.
