Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Business Analytics Solutions is responsible for defining and driving business intelligence (BI) requirements in partnership with technical and product stakeholders, performing advanced BI requirements definition, establishing standards, and guiding delivery of scalable reporting solutions.

Primary Objectives
  • Lead discovery sessions and translate complex business needs into structured specifications, user stories, and mock-ups that support BI development using tools such as Power BI and enterprise data models.
  • Collaborate with the BI Technical Team and Product Solutions Team to align business intelligence requirements with technical capabilities and product strategy.
  • Establish and maintain standards, documentation practices, and governance for BI requirements and reporting specifications.
  • Manage, lead, and develop the team responsible for defining BI data solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end discovery and documentation process for Business Analytics solutions.
  • Monitor compliance with standards, validate attainment of project objectives, and ensure projects are completed within established timeframes.
  • Review specifications and documentation produced by Solutions Analysts to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with business goals.
  • Engage with business users, product teams, and customers to elicit, define, and refine BI requirements using standard documentation formats.
  • Lead design and discovery sessions to clarify reporting needs and guide solution architecture.
  • Develop and maintain user stories and features within Agile frameworks, including acceptance criteria and traceability to business objectives.
  • Collaborate with BI developers and technical leads to support delivery of reporting solutions, resolving requirement-related issues as needed.
  • Document data dictionaries and reporting standards to promote data literacy and consistency across teams.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of BI deliverables to validate alignment with defined requirements.
  • Define and maintain BI standards including reporting infrastructure, terminology, and visualization documentation.
  • Lead change management efforts related to BI tools, processes, and organizational adoption.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage department budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and expenditure tracking.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in directly-related field required
Licenses and Certifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred
Work Experience
  • 8+ years' progressively complex Business Intelligence business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy experience required
  • 3+ years’ supervisory experience required
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Deep understanding of BI concepts including KPIs, measures, dimensions, hierarchies, and data warehousing.
  • Expert ability to translate business needs into structured specifications and guide requirement definition processes.
  • Proficiency with SQL and BI tools such as Power BI, Snowflake, etc.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools for managing user stories and features.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate others, influence performance, and lead by example.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align BI work with broader business and product goals.
  • Ability to establish and clearly communicate priorities, triage issues, and identify critical paths.

Starting pay will be determined by job-related factors including experience, education, and business needs and may be modified at any time.

Zone 1: $165,000 - $190,000

This job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.
Annual Incentive Opportunity: 15% of eligible compensation
