Job Summary
The Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Senior Analyst develops reporting and analysis tools, coordinates and manages sustainable HR data structure and controls, and manages cross-platform data integrations.

The Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Senior Analyst develops reporting and analysis tools, coordinates and manages sustainable HR data structure and controls, and manages cross-platform data integrations.
Primary Objectives
- Develop, test, implement, and maintain complex reports, dashboards, audit tools, and analytics using large datasets of employee information from a variety of sources.
- Evaluate and optimize system rules, settings, codes, and data organization to ensure accurate and accountable transaction processing in compliance with corporate policy, preferred practice, and collective bargaining agreement provisions.
- Provide end-user support and functional solutions to client business requirements.
- Evaluate, plan, build, and configure business process tools and integrations to support business requirements and improve accuracy of data and efficiency of workflows.
- Manage data infrastructure for sustainable, efficient, and accurate data flow and integration across systems.
- Design, develop, and deliver custom scheduled and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and metrics to support HR decision-making and business insights.
- Perform complex data manipulation, aggregation, and analysis using large datasets from multiple systems.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on UKG Business Intelligence (BI), fulfilling data and report requests.
- Document requirements reports, dashboards, integrations, data feeds, and other work products and ensure reporting solutions are efficient, accurate, and require minimal post-processing.
- Analyze business and project requirements, end user specifications, policies, collective bargaining agreements, and business unit requests to create and update system configurations, calculation rules, and reporting processes.
- Manage system tables, data sets, and mass updates to employee data.
- Coordinate and configure integrations to ensure accurate data flow and internal controls across HRIS, enterprise, and vendor systems.
- Develop and maintain accurate and timely data feeds, file transfers, and integrations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct and coordinate data validation, audits, and quality monitoring to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Research and resolve data discrepancies, documenting findings and resolutions.
- Test and implement system enhancements, configuration changes, and new functionalities.
- Provide timely support for HRIS applications and tools, including complex troubleshooting, issue resolution, and escalation.
- Develop and maintain end-user documentation, job aids, data dictionaries, and training materials.
- Partner with team members to train users on system functionalities and reporting tools.
- Identify and implement improvements to system functionality, data processes, and user experience.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
- Explore opportunities for optimization by moving functionalities from external systems into UKG Pro Timekeeping.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HRIS/WFM initiatives.
- Review technical documentation to ensure alignment with business needs and reporting standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources, including consultants, vendors, and project teams, to support efficient execution of implementations, enhancements, and data projects.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent combination of coursework and experience required
- 5+ years of experience in an HR systems administrator, technical specialist, or related role required
- Experience providing end user support preferred
- Experience with UKG/UltiPro strongly preferred
- Experience administrating Time and Attendance systems preferred
- Experience with HRIS implementation projects preferred
- Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, and Employee Benefits standards, processes, and data requirements.
- Expert knowledge of relational databases, query development using SQL, HRIS reporting tools, and expression-building functions.
- Ability to manage and coordinate deliverables for multiple projects and requests, and to efficiently manage large volumes of complex data.
- Ability to interpret documentation, business requirements, policy, and contract language and translate into system rules, specifications, and calculations.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse participants across multiple disciplines to achieve business goals.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions.
- Knowledge of appropriate practices and privacy requirements relating to the handling, storage, and transmission of confidential employee and organization data and records.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise a high level of tact and discretion.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization with the ability to articulate ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.

- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (or equivalent) at the following levels: • Excel: Advanced level of skill • Power BI, Access, Word, Outlook, and Visio: Intermediate level of skill
- Proficiency in UKG (Ultipro/Kronos) HRIS products and associated reporting tools preferred.
- Proficiency in configuration and reporting of time and attendance systems preferred.
