Product Owner (m/f/d) IoT

Your responsibilities

  • Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements 
  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
  • Ensure that the quality of the delivery is of high standards
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Work closely with Product Management and align actual feature definition to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Research and analyze competitors’ products and features, the users, and the roadmap for the product
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
  • Translate requirements into functional service designs and create service models along with supporting documentation (stories, sprints, releases)

What you bring

  • Educational background in the fields of Computer Science or Engineering
  • University degree in the field of Computer Science or Engineering combined with strong business acumen and customer-centricity
  • Solid technical understanding of software products combined with 2 years of working experience
  • Solid understanding of software product life cycle management and severe attention to details
  • Experience with IoT/hardware/microcontrollers is a strong advantage
  • Experience/Certification with Scrum/Agile and proficiency in Atlassian JIRA and Confluence is an advantage
  • “Can-Do” attitude that fosters a positive productive working environment, especially in stressful or pressured situations
  • An energetic and passionate personality
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding presentation, communication and information sharing skills
  • Fluency in English language
