Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure 24/7 operation of the global TeamViewer platform with 99,99% availability
  • Lead a team of System and Date Base Engineers who work together in a DevOps team with developers and Site Reliability Engineers from the R&D department
  • Ensure implementation of IT Security and system hardening requirements on the systems
  • Analyse, improve and develop global system performance, resource usage, monitoring capabilities, fault tolerance and provider costs
  • Manage service providers, control SLA reporting and foster the partnership with the major suppliers
  • Participate in RFP processes in case of supplier changes / new tenders
  • Contribute to the long-term strategic evolution of the TeamViewer platform

What you bring

  • University degree in Computer Science or relevant experience in the IT field
  • People management skills and experience in a Team Lead function (min 3 years) is required
  • Prior experience preferably as an IT Project Manager or Infrastructure / Operations Team lead in a medium-size or larger organization
  • Proven Scrum and DevOps experience
  • Familiarity with CSP offerings (AWS, Azure)
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure architecture, network fundamentals, Windows and Linux servers, MS SQL databases
  • ITIL foundation certification
  • Proven track record working within a multi-disciplinary environment and collaborating with wide range of stakeholders
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory
