Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Provide resource support to project managers and self-managed agile teams for multiple business areas. Review all application artifacts and/or documents prior to release into production.
- Oversee assigned development staff, ensuring appropriately staffed, operating within budget constraints and that systems meet organizational requirements and exceed expectations.
- Ensure assigned employees have career development plans that provide the organization with strong bench strength for future leaders and specialized individual contributors.
- Review and approve project team work prior to moving into production.
- Participate in CAB reviews.
- Serve as a subject matter expert as needed.
- Oversee implementation and/or upgrades of software applications.
- Research appropriate new applications and provide leadership with assessment of viability of implementing into KNX.
- Ensure projects are on schedule and within budget and report status accurately to both Information Technology leadership and the business unit sponsor(s).
- Ensure applications are appropriately scaled for business processes supported.
- Monitor the level of customer satisfaction, at regular intervals or after each significant implementation/upgrade of software applications.
- Stay current with technologies and lead continuous process improvement initiatives that add organizational value and optimize services.
- Work with key stakeholders to provide technical solutions that differentiate us from the competition.
- Refine and update technical, managerial and business skills and experience through work assignments, advanced technical and business training, attending professional and business industry conferences and actively participating in professional organizations.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objective.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 10+ years of experience in Application Development required.
- 4+ years of leadership experience required.
- Previous project management experience required.
- Previous experience working in Transportation/Logistics industry preferred.
- Must be able to lead and motivate team to achieve desired results.
- Must possess proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence others including external vendors and service providers.
- Must possess strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management.
- Must possess high levels of personal integrity when conducting the professional affairs of the organization and dealing with sensitive and confidential data relating to risks and cost.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Masters preferred.
