Vice President of Private Fund Investments
Description
As the Vice President of Private Fund Investments, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our investments in various fund asset classes and managing existing relationships with General Partners (“GPs") as well as evaluating new funds. Reporting directly to the head of Private Investments for the Family Office, you will leverage your expertise in alternative investments to identify co-investment opportunities that align with our investment objectives
Job Description:
• Managing existing LP commitments across a variety of venture capital, private equity, growth equity managers monitoring exposure and establishing strong lines of communications across the portfolio
• Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of new funds across various sectors and geographies. Conduct comprehensive due diligence to assess fund managers, investment strategies, track records, and update CIO/ Principal on fund/ manager selections
• Identify and evaluate co-investment opportunities sourced from our GP relationships
• Attend annual meetings (some travel required)
Qualifications:
• Superior analytical, quantitative, and technical skills
• Strong academic background, preferably in finance or accounting
• 6+ years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Family Office, Investment Banking, Fund of Funds, Pensions, and/or Endowments
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• High character & strong representation of the Family Office brand in offsite meetings/ conferences
• Strong judgement and decision making skills
• Ability to manage and effectively present information
• Strong business writing and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree from top tier institution
