Position Summary

The Enterprise Networking Team at Burwood Group is a dynamic group of technology professionals dedicated to designing, implementing, and supporting advanced network and security solutions for clients across a wide range of industries. What will you do in this role?

 As Sr. Network Consultant, you will work in our Professional Services organization as part of a multi-disciplinary consulting practice that delivers solutions using a wide variety of technologies and solutions, including:  SDWAN, SDDC, Overlay network topologies, traditional 3 tier network topologies, Public cloud interconnects and topology design, and Network Security design and implementations

• Develop and deliver technology solutions for customers, with an exceptionally high focus on quality.
• Work closely with other Burwood Group project team members.
• Build strong and continuous relationships with our clients, becoming their go-to advisor.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients to ensure they are able to successfully maintain solutions post-implementation.
• Act as a mentor and provide technical guidance to peers.
• Stay current on market trends, technologies and best practices

What do you need to succeed in this role?

Required

• You have 7-10 years of technical delivery experience and enterprise architecture preferably with a fortune 1000 company or consulting organization.
• You have a strong understanding of network architectures, solutions, processes, frameworks, and components.
• You love having analytical and consultative conversations, and you are adept at identifying and solving problems.
• You have a passion for technology and keep informed of market trends, solution insights and vendor roadmaps
• You have experience working with project managers to establish a project plan and managing a team of technical resources to complete project activities in a customer environment.
• You are able to engage at the CxO and Director/Manager levels as well as manage tasks on engagements of limited size and duration.
• You have a proven track record of exceeding customer expectations and anticipating their needs. 
• You are able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced sales and quality-based delivery model, work in a team-based environment and self-manage your time.
• You have excellent communications skills whether that be in-person, over-the-phone or e-mail.
• You don’t mind responsibility, you’re accountable for your work and dedicated to a job well done. 
• You have a passion for technology and always want to learn something new.
• You’re willing to travel for limited engagement requirements approximately 25% of the time.
• Expert level proficiency in designing and delivery of enterprise level Data Center L3/L2 technologies with Cisco, HPE/Aruba, Juniper, and Palo Alto products.

• Experience deploying enterprise level SDN technologies, including Cisco ACI or Arista and SDWAN products, Viptella, Palo Alto, HPE/Aruba EdgeConnect, Fortinet, and/or Cisco Catalyst.
• Solid understanding of Data Center and Public Cloud interconnects, including MPLS and VPLS 
• Proven hands-on experience working with campus network products from Cisco, Arista or Aruba
• CCNP R/S- current 

Candidates with the following skills are a plus:

•Wireless products from Cisco or Aruba

•Cisco ISE or Aruba Clearpass

•Any of CCIE R/S, ACMX, or ACDX

•CCNP Security certification

•Palo Alto PCSNE certification

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $180,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
