This is primarily a data maintenance/data conversion role working in the ArcGIS environment(s). Requires good ArcGIS skills, basic knowledge of land records, basic understanding of municipal utilities, basic understanding of GIS concepts (topology, themes, data sets, databases, basic cartography). Other responsibilities include scanning, plotting, creation of maps and exhibits, and learning new theory, concepts, and applications to advance to the next level. This position can expect moderate direction, tutoring, and interaction; and reports to the Manager of Professional Services.

· Preform data conversion and maintenance tasks in multiple vertical markets
· Perform document scrubbing, preparation, and scanning
· Georeference digital images in an ArcGIS environment
· Plotting
· Follow established quality control procedures
· Other duties as assigned

Education / Experience:
At least one year of CAD or ArcGIS experience is very helpful, although exceptions can be made based on other factors. Many of these responsibilities can be learned on the job or through formal training (seminars, workshops, higher education, etc.). Associate’s or Bachelor’s (or Certificate) in GIS, Geography, or a related field is a bonus but not required. GISP Certification helpful, but not required.
