The Position
The IFS Onboarding Lead will support the global integration of Asset Management projects into our newly established Enterprise Resource Planning Platform (ERP) which is replacing several existing systems, including our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
 
The role will involve Wind, Solar & Battery Storage projects, assisting in setting up request contracts, equipment structures and obligations into the ERP, ensuring adherence to best practice for safety, quality, and environmental performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Organisational Context
The IFS Onboarding Lead will report to the Operations Support Manager, joining a team of Operations engineers with broad experience across Wind, Solar and Battery Storage. They will have an influential role as part of the Operations Support Team in leading, developing and standardising ways of working across the Asset Management business.
 
The IFS Onboarding Lead shall work across all disciplines understanding the contract, financial, technical and site requirements related to each project.
 
The role will promote and enhance the use of the ERP and shall be highly visible role within Asset Management, with occasional travel required to regional offices. Whilst the role is UK based; you will be supporting projects in other regions or countries.
 
Key Accountabilities
The IFS Onboarding Lead will:
 
  • Help ensure high HSQE standards across our portfolio
  • Support the wider onboarding processes including:
    • Managing the onboarding of new renewable energy assets into the Asset Management portfolio before they are handed to an Asset Manager
    • Ensuring all elements of the Onboarding Process related to the ERP are completed to a high standard by collaborating with other teams including IT, Technical, Financial & Commercial Asset Management and the Control Centre.
    • Support specific future ERP improvement plans
    • Developing IFS Onboarding processes which support growth and cost reduction targets
  • Support the Operations Support & Asset Management Teams by:
    • Leading on areas of personal expertise as part of the business objectives.
    • Actively participating in Continuous Improvement, Innovation and Standardisation activities to develop RES services
 

 

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of any or all renewable technology projects (Wind, Solar & Storage) in either design, construction, or operations (desirable) 

  • ERP and/ or CMMS systems (IFS desirable) 

  • Quality and environmental management systems

Experience

  • Projects and / or Asset Management in a Renewable engineering environment (desirable) 

  • At least 1 years’ experience of ERP and/or CMMS systems (IFS desirable) 

  • Management of large datasets, including reporting via tools such as PowerBI using APIs 

  • Managing budgets and project costs 

 

Qualifications

  • Degree/HND Engineering, Computing, Science qualifications or equivalent experience 

  • Project Management qualification or equivalent experience
