About the Role
As an Asset Manager, you will lead the delivery of multiple PV & BESS Asset Management Agreements. You’ll manage client relationships, drive asset performance and value, coordinate defect resolution, and regulatory compliance. With a strong focus on safety, reporting, and stakeholder engagement—including landholders, regulators, and contractors—you’ll be the central figure ensuring assets operate smoothly, profitably, and in full compliance with industry standards. This role will be reporting to Asset Management Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of Asset Management Agreements, ensuring strong performance, compliance and client satisfaction.
- Develop annual business plans, maintain risk registers and coordinate day‑to‑day asset operations, including maintenance and issue resolution.
- Manage regulatory and market obligations (e.g., NER, AEMO, AER, CER) through structured, auditable processes.
- Oversee defect management, contractual obligations and accurate project documentation, budgets and reporting.
- Build effective relationships with clients, landholders, community stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring timely payments and transparent communication.
- Champion a strong safety culture and model risk‑aware behaviours.
Knowledge & Skills
- Renewable Energy Operations: PV, BESS, NEM and regulatory frameworks
- Commercial & Contracting: Procurement, contract and contractor management, commercial analysis and executive‑ready recommendations
- Safety, Quality & Environment: Health and safety systems, quality and environmental management
- Stakeholder & Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, board engagement and community interaction
- Operational Excellence: Problem solving, planning, organisation and attention to detail
- Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in asset management, including early‑stage operations
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement
- Understanding of commercial and engineering aspects of renewable energy and the National Electricity Market
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and business planning
- Extensive contract and contractor management experience
- Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Law, Finance or a related field Master’s degree desirable
