System Administrator

We are currently looking for a System Administrator to join our team. 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide system-level support of operating systems, hardware and  
     software tools, including installation, configuration, and maintenance, as part of the Service Delivery team 
  • Manage, maintain, and review documentation 
  • Ensure internal and external partners receive and maintain access to appropriate systems and SaaS applications 
  • Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade operating  
     systems and applications 
  • Collaborate with other technical staff and business units 
  • Assist with capacity planning, disaster recovery, and security 
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, firewalls, switches, access points, and IP cameras 
  • Support end users when necessary  
  • Performs other duties as assigned 

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required 
  • 5+ years of experience in system administration 
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365: user administration, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of identity providers, particularly JumpCloud and Azure Active Directory 
  • Experience administering ticketing systems, e.g. Jira, ServiceNow, etc. 
  • Experience administering MDM and remote management solutions 
  • Experience administering antivirus/EDR solutions 
  • Deep understanding of Windows, Mac, and Linux 
  • Understanding of core networking principles (LAN/WAN), with an ability to administer/troubleshoot firewalls, switches, access points, and IP cameras 
  • Experience using scripting and automation 
  • AWS experience preferred 
  • Strong sense of urgency 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Exceptional and timely communication skills 
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills 
  • Some after-hours or on-call work may be required
