Your Role at Relatient
We're seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. This position has a preference for Atlanta based candidates but can be fully remote for the right individual.
Responsibilities:
- Support the month-end close process for main operating entities, including preparation of monthly journal entries, reviewing work of all expenses, and account reconciliations
- Handles monthly variance and spend analysis reporting for subschedules
- Work cross-functionally to lead and support process improvement initiatives as we scale
- Oversite of corporate credit card and expense reimbursement program
- Oversite of corporate travel and expense policies and procedures and training initiatives for new employees
- Review proper GL coding of invoices and expenses, 2-way documentation, and approvals through automated platforms and tools.
- Assist with year-end activities for both audit and tax
- Support with ACH, check, and manual payment runs with the Controller/CFO
- Manages daily cash and credit card reconciliations
- Manage leased inventory with IT dept to GAAP standards
- Enhance the documentation of key internal controls, processes, and procedures
- Maintain daily cash reports and resolving issues related to the banking portal (lockbox errors, check voided in the past, uncleared checks, etc.), and other related duties
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree is required
- 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or accounts payable required
- Advanced excel skills
- Experience with accounting close and preparation of financial statements.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite preferred.
- Experience working in a high growth technology or SaaS company preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask to meet deadlines

Compensation:
For positions based in the U.S., the estimated salary range for this role is $60,000-$85,000. Final compensation depends on experience, skills, location, and other factors such as internal equity and budget.
