The Senior Product Manager – New Markets will analyze the market to understand new spaces in which the company’s products can add value, develop & prioritize a roadmap of capabilities to enhance Quantum’s products for applicability in those markets, and work cross-functionally across the organization to operationalize those roadmaps. This individual will lead the company’s thinking on entering new markets, helping to define which markets to pursue and to shape Quantum’s products to operate in identified markets.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare transformation with a focus on innovation and helping people. The Senior Product Manager – New Markets will work closely with clinical, operational, technology and other functional experts from across the enterprise to ensure we are solving the right problems and adding value, leading to the creation of products that will drive QH’s entry into new markets.
What you’ll do
Identify & prioritize new market entry opportunities
- Conduct and leverage market analysis
- Perform competitive analysis & monitor the market
- Identify opportunities (e.g., markets, channels, service models)
Develop & maintain new market product roadmaps
- Define value proposition & approach to new market opportunities
- Define new capabilities needs v. existing
- Develop roadmap to build new market offerings
- Collaborate cross-functionally on product design & requirements
Build business cases to secure investments
- Develop use cases and high level go to market strategy
- Quantify investments necessary to achieve goals
- Project revenue and contributions
- Investigate variable assumptions and model scenarios
Lead operationalization efforts
- Think through and develop workflows
- Develop go-to-market strategy and think through commercial execution
- Gather stakeholder feedback to ensure optimal alignment
- Work cross-functionally to deliver on product and feature vision
- Identify, define, and organize activities to create an efficient iterative process
- Foster a culture of process improvement and zero defect
- All other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline
- Experience: 5+ years’ in healthcare, product management, new product development; 2+ years’ working at health plans; exposure to government programs (i.e., Medicare, Medicaid) is a plus
- Demonstrated experience analyzing data, conducting market research
- Able to translate market/customer (internal and external) needs into solutions and strategies
- Understanding of P&L, proformas, pricing strategies
- Business case experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented with an ownership mindset; Highly organized, able to multi-task
- Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
- Trustworthy and accountable behavior, capable of viewing and maintaining confidential information daily.

- Operational experience
- Go to market planning & strategy experience
- Has knowledge of product design principles and the application of design thinking methodology
- Experienced working closely with product owners, marketing, sales, account management and working in an agile work environment
- Strong teamwork, communication, and program management skills
