Internship Description:

The Quantum Health Summer Internship Program is an intensive 12-week opportunity designed for rising seniors (2021 grads) and graduate students who would like to work in an exciting, fast-paced and challenging environment. As an intern at Quantum Health you will contribute to meaningful projects, interact with other interns, be exposed to Quantum Health's business operations and work cross functionally with other departments.

Speaker Series: Meet and learn from leaders across the company for a macro-level view of how specific departments contribute to the overall mission of Quantum Health.

Internship Guidelines:

  • Application Review and Interviews: Dec 2019 through March 2020 as needed by role
  • The Internship Program is 12 weeks beginning May 25, 2020 through Aug 14, 2020
  • All internships are paid, 40 hours per week.
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program graduating either Spring or Summer 2021 with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing future basis without requiring sponsorship

Business Intelligence – Client Internship

Roles and Tasks:

  • Learn how Business Intelligence uses data to gather insights
  • Learn how to review healthcare data to identify trends
  • Help researching and implementing analytical data strategies
  • Apply your analytical skills to help redefine business analysis methodologies
  • Effectively present results and learnings 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Enrolled and working towards an undergraduate or master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Population Health or related healthcare major.
  • Experience with data mining using Excel, creating charts and graphs to aid in demonstrating results

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with data mining using SQL, other
  • Ability to understand and manipulate data into usable, actionable information with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and self-directed with limited need for day-to-day supervision
  • Interest in learning new technologies and solving business problems
