The Mid-Market Account Executive Role
The Sales Organization in Qlik is the primary connection to our customers and prospects, focusing on driving revenue in new accounts and expanding our presence in the territory's existing customer. The teams work geographically across North America.
What makes this role interesting?
The Mid-Market Account Executive addresses the accounts identified by Qlik as commercial accounts in a territory with current customers and target new customers, with the highest potential future value in the market. The role is part of an account team, with a primary responsibility of prospecting within the accounts to generate and close new licenses sales either direct or through our partner channel.
Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:
- Outbound identification and development of land and expand opportunities within assigned accounts using digital and social channels.
- Follow up on inbound leads to qualify and manage them through the sales cycle.
- Close new opportunities directly with internal Solutions Architect support and/or coordinate Partner involvement in sales cycles.
- Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and manage them through the sales cycle.
- Maintain customer and opportunity data in SFDC system.
- Build/maintain strong customer and partner relationships within the territory base.
We’re looking for a teammate with:
- Customer Centric Selling experience using a modern sales methodology platform.
- Strong marketing orientation with experience using a lead generation tool.
- Ability to execute a prospecting and sales plan within the territory, and work with partners to maximize coverage.
- Strong ability to influence at all levels within Qlik and territory accounts.
- Ability to build communities and relationships within the territory.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and be proactive to get tasks done efficiently.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales goals.
- 2–4-year college degree.
- 2-4 years of Business Development and/or 1-2 years of Inside Sales experience (minimum of 4 years professional sales experience preferred).
- Salesforce.com, Windows and MS office proficiency.
- Technical/software sales experience a plus.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $55,000-75,000 USD per year. This position is eligible for a commission within a range of $55,000-75000 USD subject to meeting targets set forth in a sales compensation plan. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
