Manager R&D, SaaS Configuration and Management   

Join us as the manager of the SaaS Configuration and Management Team, where you'll lead a talented group of software developers building the Qlik Cloud onboarding and tenant management experience. This is your chance to build an experience that delights single users conducting a trial as well as administrators of our largest customers and partners.  You will simplify and remove friction from this process, increasing adoption and reach of our solutions, extensible to our growing portfolio of analytics and data integration software solutions.

• Lead a robust team responsible for user experience and backend services, supporting thousands of signups monthly in our high-profile SaaS environment.
• Challenge and inspire your team to continuously deliver exceptional software through agile and DevOps principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Designers, to prioritize backlogs and shape the roadmap.
• Manage the entire feature lifecycle, from prototyping to deployment in the cloud, ensuring high-quality results.
• Foster innovation within the software delivery process, competing at the forefront of global software teams.
• Lead feature teams across diverse geographies and time zones, adding a unique global perspective to your role.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:   

Your role goes beyond management; it's about empowering your team, removing roadblocks, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your contributions will:   

• Elevate the team by providing coaching, clarifying priorities, and ensuring collaboration with stakeholders.
• Drive quality through resilient engineering practices, defect management, automated testing, monitoring production and addressing production incidents promptly.
• Understand your team's strengths and create opportunities for their learning and development.
• Innovate and optimize our software delivery process, addressing challenges head-on.

We’re looking for a teammate with:   

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in delivering successful SaaS solutions.
• Expertise in agile continuous delivery, ensuring the production-ready code is continuously deployed.
• Technical proficiency in microservices architecture, interactive web applications (Node, Go, JavaScript), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
• DevOps experience, enabling high-velocity service delivery.
• Comfort working across global offices, understanding and appreciating diverse cultures.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $185,000 CDN per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package, eligibility requirements for benefits will be controlled by applicable Qlik plan documents and policies.
