What you’ll do
The RN will work at our Whatcom Community Detox location, which provides a monitored setting for the safe withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs, as well as individuals in mental health crises. The RN is responsible for providing quality health care services to all residents including assessing somatic conditions, delivering medications according to procedure and creating a favorable group climate for the effective treatment of each patient in treatment.

What you’ll bring

  • Nursing Degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing and licensed to administer medication.
  • Registered Nurse in Washington and have a current Washington State RN license in good standing.
  • Experience in a care setting for at least 6 months, with preference given to applicants with mental health & chemical dependency experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, preference given to applicants with experience with electronic charting. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Applicant must have the ability to effectively communicate with and work with outside agencies.
